Tips / Notes for Best Results
- Marinating the steak in a beer of your choice gives the meat a ‘dry aged flavor’ which is absolutely delicious, this process would also work well with red wine.
- After removing the steak from the marinade use paper towels to pat dry. A dry surface will guarantee a better sear which adds extra flavor.
- Before cooking the steak preheat the pan until Very hot.
- Use a cast iron skillet for best searing, you can also use a non stick pan but the non stick properties will reduce searing.
