Made with homemade jerk marinade, pineapple juice, brown sugar, butter, and beer, this easy jerk sauce recipe adds a bold tropical kick to any dish. Use it as a jerk glaze, marinade, or dipping sauce for the ultimate flavor boost!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ketchup 
  • ½ cup homemade jerk marinade 
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar 
  • 2 tbsp butter 
  • ½ cup pineapple juice 
  • ¼ cup beer 

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter – In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to sizzle. 
  2. Build the Base – Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, and homemade jerk marinade, letting the flavors combine for about 1 minute. 
  3. Add the Sweet & Bold – Pour in the pineapple juice and beer, stirring well to mix everything together. 
  4. Simmer & Thicken – Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly. 
  5. Cool & Serve – Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before using. Brush it over grilled meats or use it as a dipping sauce.
